Judi Friedman, RN | IVF Coordinator
Judi Friedman, R.N. has been working in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for over 20 years. Prior to a 3 1/2 year position at UCSF, she worked at several different private practices and large clinics in the San Francisco/North Bay area.
Judi received her B.S. from the University of Maryland. She holds an M.A. in Special Education from George Washington University and received her nursing degree upon moving to California in 1982.
Judi has a special interest in patient education/teaching and understands the importance of personal attention to all patients who are going through infertility treatments
Judi lives in Sonoma with her husband and has two “beautiful” daughters.
Kristie Clar, MA | IUI Coordinator
Kristie Clar, MA, has been working with infertility couples for over 7 years. She approaches patients with an uncommon level of attentiveness and compassion.
Born and raised in Marin, Kristie attended Trinity College where she received her degree as a Medical Assistant. She is also certified in phlebotomy. Prior to her tenure at UCSF Reproductive Endocrinology, Kristie worked for 5 years in Pediatrics, gaining valuable insight and appreciation for the importance of early childhood development and healthcare.
Kristie has a special interest in Andrology and takes pride in providing extraordinary care to patients undergoing intrauterine insemination treatment.

Napa Valley Fertility Center provides highly-attentive reproductive medicine and expertise in all aspects of infertility care. These include: in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), ovulation induction, frozen embryo transfer, third party reproduction, male infertility/andrology, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, and reproductive surgery. We also emphasize access to experimental treatments such as in vitro maturation (IVM) and offer fertility preservation therapies for women with cancer or benign conditions that threaten their reproductive lifespan. Dr. Peter Uzelac, our physician and medical director, is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is also a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). Dr. Uzelac launched one of the first successful IVM programs in the United States.
